A few days ago, I was introduced to a water saving device by my friend, James. The UGS Water Saver Europe is a water saving package which would cost S$185 and is meant for installation onto 3 taps. It will cut down at least 41% of your water bill each and every month after it has been installed onto your taps.

Many Singaporeans who have used it have testified to its effectiveness. Besides, the Singapore PUB recognises it too to be in line with the Friends of Water programme spearheaded by PUB on World Water Day last year. Since then, there have been more than 400 individuals and organisations recognized as Friends of Water. The programme aims to build up a community of water lovers and encourage them to be guardians of this precious resource.

Please Note The Following:

The device can only be installed onto a tap with the standard ¾-inch opening (diameter). The old model taps (½-inch type) would be replaced by the installer with the compatible ones and only the cost of the new taps (about $19 per new tap) would be incurred… No extra service charge would be imposed according to Ryman.
